Middle School Administration

Nancy Dominguez

Dear Cougar Families, Students, and Staff,

Welcome to a new school year at China Spring Middle School! I am truly excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and opportunity with our incredible students, families, and staff. It is an honor to serve as your principal, and I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our campus community as we continue building a school where every student feels known, valued, and supported.

I bring nearly two decades of experience in education, and each year has strengthened my belief in the incredible potential of students when they are surrounded by caring educators, supportive families, and a community that believes in them. I already feel deeply connected to China Spring Middle School and the strong sense of community that makes this campus special. My husband, Justin, and I are the proud parents of two amazing children, Aaron (14) and Andrew (8). Both are active in football, basketball, and baseball, so I understand firsthand the importance of working together to support the whole child and help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

At China Spring Middle School, we believe success begins with strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to helping every student grow. Our theme this year, "Be the Change; Lead the Way," reflects our belief that every person has the power to make a difference. Leadership is not defined by a position or title; it is demonstrated through our choices, our actions, and the way we treat others. Whether it is showing kindness, persevering through challenges, encouraging a peer, or taking ownership of our learning, every student and staff member has the opportunity to create positive change.

Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and academically rich environment where students can develop confidence, character, and the skills needed for future success. We know that the strongest schools are built through partnerships, and we value the collaboration between our campus, families, and community.

I encourage you to stay connected with us through our school website, newsletters, and social media. Your involvement, support, and partnership are essential as we continue working together to provide the best possible experience for our students.

Thank you for trusting us with your child's education. I am excited for the memories we will create, the challenges we will overcome, and the growth we will celebrate together. This year, let's choose to Be the Change and Lead the Way: one student, one relationship, and one choice at a time.

Go Cougs!

Dr. Jamie Davidson
Assistant Principal

Dr. Jamie Davidson is proud to serve as Assistant Principal at China Spring Middle School. Entering her 21st year in public education and her second year in China Spring ISD, she is committed to leading with a focus on relationships and student growth. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Dr. Davidson began her career teaching middle school reading, where she developed a passion for literacy, student growth, and meeting the unique needs of every learner. Most recently, she served for nine years as a dyslexia therapist in Crowley ISD, helping students build the confidence and skills they needed to become successful readers. She believes that student success is built through strong relationships and meaningful partnerships among schools, families, and the community.

Dr. Davidson grew up in Reagan, a small community in Central Texas. After several years serving students in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, she is grateful that her role at China Spring Middle School brought her back to the region she calls home. She earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, her master's degree from Lamar University, and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University.

Outside of school, Dr. Davidson enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two adult children and two grandchildren. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and relaxing with a good movie. She is honored to serve the students, staff, and families of China Spring Middle School and looks forward to another great year of learning and growth. Go Cougs!
