Monday, December 8, we have basketball games and the jazz band winter concert. Come out and support our Cougs!
NJHS applications for 7th grade students are still available and can be picked up in the front office. The deadline for applications is Dec. 18th at 4pm. No Late Exceptions will be permitted.

Important Reminders
As we look ahead, please take note of a few important updates,
Wednesday, December 17 and Thursday, December 18, we will be on a final exam schedule which can be found here. This is a time designated for teachers to give an optional final exam (typically this is a unit test), do neat projects, or fun activities.

Students must charge iPads at home. Chargers should remain at home.
Please make sure students are aware if they are getting food delivered on game days. This helps minimize interruptions to instruction and helps the front office run smoothly.

Tardies can be viewed under the Attendance tab in Ascender
A student who is tardy to class by more than 3 times per grading period may be assigned to before school detention or given another appropriate consequence.
Students arriving late to class will be marked as tardy.
Tardies count for every class, every period.
After School Detention will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week 4-5 pm, and parents are responsible for transportation.

504 meetings are wrapping up for 7th grade students!
If you are interested in a lunch bunch group for your child, please reach out.

Prescription medication requires a physician and parent signature. Over the counter medications given per the bottle directions need a parent signature otherwise they will need a physician and parent signature.

What do I need to do if my student needs to miss school?
STEP 1: Call the school @ 254-836-4611
STEP 2: Email Mrs. Oliver, the Attendance Clerk with a parent/doctor note.
YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO TURN IN A NOTE FOR THE ABSENCE TO BE EXCUSED.
DUES: Class Dues are $20. We accept CASH, CHECK made out to CSMS or you may pay online through Myschoolbucks.com.
